These Terms and Conditions (T’s and C’s) are binding on Postgoldforcash Ltd (trading as Monsterpriceforgold.com) and on every customer of Monsterpriceforgold. Postgoldforcash Ltd is a UK company, registered with Companies House (registration number 05900919) and are also VAT registered through HMRC and our VAT number is 971451710. We have tried to write them in a way that can be easily understood . General Requirements
By posting goods to Monsterpriceforgold, each customer agrees to all the T’s and C’s regardless of whether you have signed the Customer Declaration which is sent out with each FREE GOLD SELLING PACK.
Every customer must be at least 18 years of age in order to sell items to Monsterpriceforgold. Every customer must be the actual legal owner of all gold, jewellery and other property sold or attempted to be sold to Monsterpriceforgold. Every customer must be acting on his or her own behalf and not as the agent or representative of another person.
At Monsterpriceforgold’s request, the customer will provide documentation or other proof that complies with the requirements contained in these T’s and C’s.
The customer guarantees all of the following: that no items sent to us are the result of illegal activity in the UK or any other country; that any transaction initiated by the customer will not cause Monsterpriceforgold to be in violation of any anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, or other applicable law of any country; not to send any hazardous material to Monsterpriceforgold and not to send Monsterpriceforgold any material that does not contain precious metals.
Posting and Insurance
All items sent to Monsterpriceforgold must be via Royal Mail Special Delivery. All items posted to us are at the customer’s own risk (albeit they are insured by Royal Mail for up to £500 until we receive them) until received and signed for by Monsterpriceforgold. If you believe your items are worth more than £500, you must pay an additional fee at the Post Office to increase the insurance level to either £1,000 or £2,500. If we buy your items, we will refund this extra insurance you may have paid. We may need to see your receipt from the Post Office before this refund can be processed so do keep this receipt safe. If, for any reason, Monsterpriceforgold does not buy your items, then no refund will be made against any extra insurance you may have taken out.
You need to list the quantities of the items you are sending us on the form provided and you need to complete your details in full and sign the Customer Declaration. Monsterpriceforgold reserves the right to reject any forms (and the items they are sent with) which are not properly completed and signed. Monsterpriceforgold also reserves the right to reject delivery of any package which appears to be opened, damaged, or tampered with in any way. Any such packages we reject will be returned to you – at our cost – but without any liability to Monsterpriceforgold.
Gemstones
Monsterpriceforgold accepts Gemstones. Generally it may cost more to remove a Gemstone from its setting than its value to us, so they have no intrinsic value. Where our valuers find a significant Gemstone which does have intrinsic value, this will be taken into account when an offer is made to the customer.
Valuation and Offer
Once your items have been received they may be tested by our specially trained experts to determine their value, based on that day’s precious metal markets. By sending us your jewellery you accept that this process of determining a value involves placing certain acids on the gold, silver, platinum or other items which can leave permanent staining and/or deep scratches. MonsterPriceForGold.com is not liable for any damage caused in this way or any resulting decrease in the value of the items. If we buy your items, this becomes irrelevant anyway.
We will try to make contact with you by phone. If we fail to make contact initially, we will keep trying and will keep your goods in a secure place such as a safe, in the meantime. When we make you an offer, it will be valid until 5pm that same day – as the price of Gold and other precious metals change regularly, our offers cannot be extended beyond then. Once you have accepted our offer, the goods can be immediately shipped for melting down so your acceptance is legally binding on both of us and it is irrevocable.
If after 3 months we have been unable to contact you – we will send payment for your items to the name and address provided. If you do not want to accept the offer, you have 14 days to return the payment and your items will be retuned to you. If you have not returned payment within this time, we will assume the offer has been accepted and the items will then be shipped for refining even if the cheque has not been cashed.
Payment
After our offer has been accepted, we will arrange payment details with you. We will pay by one of the following payment methods, no later than the working day after you accept our offer:
Cash via Post Service. We can send you cash to anywhere in the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery, an insured service by the Royal Mail. If you wish to use this service, we will charge you £9 postage fee to pay for this cash via Post Service and to cover our extra administration costs in handling cash. We will send you the cash in British Bank notes and £1 or £2 coins, with the amount rounded down to the nearest whole pound. The cash will be sent in a secure and insured envelope and will need to be signed for at your address. Over 99% of these will arrive the very next working day. We will only send cash to the original address that we sent the Monsterpriceforgold Pack to, and we may require proof that the named person appears on the Electoral Register for that address. Once the cash has been delivered and signed for, our obligations have been fulfilled and we will not be liable if it then goes missing or does not reach you. For this reason, we suggest that you only use this Cash via post service if you know and trust everyone who lives at the address to which we are sending the cash.
Direct bank transfer to your Account. We can pay straight into the account of your choice in the UK, with funds leaving our account the day after you agree to our offer. There is no charge for this service. We will send you a payment receipt confirming the money has been transferred.
Cheque. We can send you a cheque by first class post the next working day after you have agreed to our offer – at no charge to you. We will send you a payment receipt along with the cheque to the same address to which we sent the FREE Monsterpriceforgold Pack.
Nearly all our customers accept the offer we make them, but if you decide not to accept our offer for your items, your goods will be returned to you – at our cost, within five (5) working days from when you declined our offer.
However, if you only send items containing no precious metals, there is a £15 fee for returning them, or we can dispose of them free of charge. Your payment must be received within 28 days or the items will be disposed of.
Return/Loss Liabilities
In the unlikely event that any of your items are lost once we have received them, Monsterpriceforgold will pay you their replacement value, or provide items of a near equivalent value. If you are not happy with the near equivalent items we provide, we will jointly appoint, and jointly pay for, an independent valuer to assess them and we will both be bound by his or her judgment.
When returning your original items, or (in the unlikely event that they have been lost by Monsterpriceforgold), the equivalent value items, Monsterpriceforgold shall, in its own discretion, choose the return carrier and relevant insurance for each such return. We may be independently insured against any such loss, and in the event of any claim, the customer agrees to provide all such information as we or our Insurance company may reasonably request including signing for the returned package.
Calculator
Monsterpriceforgold provides a calculator service on our website and regularly updates the Gold Price into this service which provides an approximate guide to the value of your Gold. While we attempt to maintain the accuracy of this service, no liability is accepted for any errors or omissions.
Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Claims
A customer who wishes to submit a claim to Monsterpriceforgold must notify Monsterpriceforgold immediately to request a claim form. In order to be processed, the claim form must be fully and accurately completed, signed and posted to Monsterpriceforgold, in accordance with the claim form instructions. The customer must submit any and all supporting documentation with the completed and signed form. Failure to properly complete, sign and post the claim form may result in the denial of the claim by Monsterpriceforgold. There is a 14 day processing period from the time the claim form is received by Monsterpriceforgold and the claim processed. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
All phone calls between Monsterpriceforgold and its customers or potential customers may be recorded for security and training purposes. Any such recording may be relied upon by Monsterpriceforgold in the event of any dispute.
Legal Information
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales
Monsterpriceforgold’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these T’s and C’s will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court shall endeavour to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision and the other provisions of these T’s and C’s will remain in full force and effect. Customers agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the services offered by Monsterpriceforgold must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose. Any such claim or cause of action must be filed in the UK.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monsterpriceforgold against any and all liability, claims, suits, losses, costs and legal fees caused by, arising out of, or resulting from any breach or claimed breach by you of these T’s and C’s, including claims brought by third parties.
Monsterpriceforgold reserves the right to change these T’s and C’s and advise you to revisit our website, at www.monsterpriceforgold.com, periodically to ensure that you are aware of our current T’s and C’s. If a customer sends items more than once, it is your responsibility to check the T’s and C’s on each separate occasion that you choose to send us gold or jewellery items to ensure you know our latest T’s and C’s by which you agree to be bound by sending those subsequent items to us.
Monsterpriceforgold complies with all requirements of the Data Protection Act. Your information will only be used if you have given us permission to do so. Any bank account or similar details you provide will be treated confidentially and will only be stored subject to high security methods.
Monsterpriceforgold is wholly owned by postgoldforcash.com Ltd which is a UK business and only accepts gold from UK addresses and only pays to UK accounts.
